The Planning

Once we had made the decision to return to Australia, Les and I handed over the responsibility of organising an itinerary to Avril and Rosalyn, knowing our only duty would be to fork out the cash. Armed with many travel brochures and a vague idea of a route they set off to the travel agent, with Les and I trailing behind. The ever patient Alistair Hart (of Andrew Earle's World of Travel, Hull) gave us invaluable help and advice: and so the trip was born.
